Matteo Gamba wins at Rally dei Laghi

The crew Gamba-Inglesi stands on the highest posium' step in Laveno Mombello. This was their first experience in Varese, onboard the Team Balbosca's car.
Matteo completed the 9 scheduled stages in a total time of 1.00'02".5, keeping out the local driver Freguglia (Peugeot 207 S2000 by Twister Corse) in a gap of 20".9.

After a long winter-break, the 2011 season is going to start for Matteo and Emanuele.
Our quick drivers will come back to the rally action at the 20th Rally dei Laghi Edition.

Everything is confirmed for the upcoming season: as usual the Team balbosca will provide the crew with the well-performing Peugeot S2000, while Emanuele Inglesi will seat as usual alonside Matteo.

Matteo is leaving behind a good 2010 season, which kept him busy at the Renault Clio R3 European Trophy - where he achieved a nice 4th standing overall in the end.
He also won twice onboard the Peugeot 207 S2000, once in Northern Italy, then once in Croatia.
To get well-prepared at Rally dei Laghi, Matteo did a testing session to become more confident on his S2000 and then to find a proper set-up to choose during the rally.
Matteo's new season aim is taking part at some IRC events- such as Geko Ypres rally and RAC Scotland Rally; for sure he will aslo compete in some Italian Rally, where he will point to the win.
